Mary G. has her babies!

It is one of the greatest blessings to witness the miracle of life. Our entire family, along with grandparents, were all there for the grand event. We were thankful that we were home and it wasn't in the middle of the night. Our daughter, knowing the signs to watch for, was the one who notified us that Mary G. was close to giving birth. We were ready with all the necessary supplies in our goat "birthing kit." We prayed for an easy and healthy delivery for Mama and her babies. God graciously answered our prayers and the entire process went exceedingly well! Our human kids were right there in the middle of all it. They get to experience an incredible variety of experiences and this one was a highlight.

Mary G. is the most excellent of mothers. She gave birth to healthy twins- a boy and a girl! They are superstars at nursing and have been thriving. Their personalities are unique and so much fun. We think of names as a family and then vote. In the spirit of the goats being boy and girl twin, we thought of various famous boy and girl twins. We settled on the names Luke and Leia Skywalker.
